October 31, 2007		Health: Discrimination Complaint - Language Access in NY Pharmacies NYLPI, on behalf of Make the Road New York and the New York Immigration Coalition, filed a discrimination complaint with the New York State Office of the Attorney General, alleging that pharmacies in New York City and Long Island denied non-English speaking patients equal access to their services when they failed to translate medicine labels or provide interpretation services.
