NYLPI provides a full range of technical assistance to advocate on behalf of parents with disabilities in the Family Court system. In addition, we provide advice and referrals for parents with disabilities. For children with disabilities, NYLPI works actively to ensure that children get all needed services in the community and strives to improve placements for children who are in foster care placements away from their homes. In addition, NYLPI works with other advocates for parents and children to provide education about the needs of people with disabilities and improve services for parents and children with disabilities.
